Interactions Chlordiazepoxide: Cimetidine increases serum concentration. Absorption is impaired by Mg trisilicate, morphine, pethidine and atropine. Absorption enhanced by metoclopramide and aluminium hydroxide. Potentiates action of major neuroleptics.
Imipramine: Barbiturates reduce plasma levels thereby reducing antidepressant effect. Cimetidine elevates serum imipramine concentrations and consequently adverse effects. Causes drowsiness and impaired performance in combination with alcohol.
